and I’m excited about Kansas Days coming
this January 2009 at the
Capital Plaza Hotel in
Topeka, Kansas! As a candidate for House
District #2 in
southeast Kansas I’m running on a fairtax
model idea. I’ve found success by attending the
Kansas Days celebration and promoting the
Fairtax. But we need to hit home the issue in no
uncertain terms. There’s two ways to change
things in politics. One way is by money….of
which there’s way too much of that going on. And
the other way is by a BIG push!
And that’s why
James Hodges is sticking his neck out to
organize the great Fairtax Blitz. You won’t
believe the opportunity this event provides. All
the movers and shakers in Republican politics
from Washington that represent
Kansas are there! It’s an amazing fund
raising opportunity for these political pundits
and that’s a major reason why they never miss
it.
Now imagine this my friends…the halls quietly
line-up for the
morning prayer breakfast (a fund raiser
for Kansas for Life) and from just down the hall
it begins. At first there’s five Fairtax shirts
walking in, then there’s ten more, now twenty!
Good Lord where did all these people come from?
Folks that’s what will get the attention at this
event. A sea of Fairtax shirts seated at the
prayer breakfast. A crowd of Fairtax shirt clad
citizens following
Senator Brownback and
Senator Pat Roberts from room to room to
make their presence known. Get the drift?
